Fedrigo wants Sakuraba back in Chute Boxe

By the time the referee interrupted the fight, declaring a TKO over UFC star Ken Shamrock, Kazushi Sakuraba rushes to his corner and hugs Rudimar Fedrigo, Chute Boxe leader, who worked in Saku's corner during Pride 30 held on October 23rd at the Saitama Super Arena.

Fedrigo talked to ADCC News about Sakuraba?s victory and revealed that he is expecting to have the Japanese star back in Curitiba, at Chute Boxe headquarters soon, possibly to train for his fight at the Pride New Year's eve show.

?We are very excited about Sakuraba?s performance. He won the fight fighting in the best Chute Boxe style. We hope Saku can manage to come back to Curitiba and finish the work we have initiated in September. The credits for his victory must be given to Rafael Cordeiro, one of our leaders, responsible for Ninja?s triumph as well?, states Fedrigo.

The Chute Boxe leader was touched by Sakuraba?s excitement after the knock out over Shamrock. ?He approached me and kept thanking me. He told me he wanted to throw a flying kick but I told him to wait for the perfect chance?, completes Fedrigo.

Kazushi Sakuraba recognizes the importance of the period he spent in Chute Boxe and confesses he wants to go back to Curitiba, where the Chute Boxe headquarter is located. 'They were in my corner and that helped me mentally. I haven't decided yet but I want to go back there'

the rivalry between him and tamura is deep already. with a killer chute boxe instinct as well, Sak could dish out quite a beating if that is who he fights

I think it's cool they've bonded. Any word on who a back up opponent might be? I'm not banking on the Tamura fight going through.

Sakuraba has said on Japanese tv that he isn't sure if he wants on fight on NYE. He said he's getting older, tired lately and want a bit off. Maybe just one of his latest antics, dunno.

He has a new t-shirt out "I am tired" it says in portugese.
